I cannot start up my logos, it keeps crashing, log says
Error ID: 997Error detail: SEHException: External component has thrown an exception.
How can I fix this?

Please enable permanent diagnostic logging and reproduce the error, then zip up and attach the log files to a follow up posting.

This is unusual as it is crashing after it has got licence data from Logos servers! We need to wait for a Logos tech to comment (or you can contact Customer Support directly).
If you want to update to the latest version use this link http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
It isn't a fix as the updated version could still Crash!

You can still contact Logos Customer Support.
Try to start Logos off-line. Hold the CTRL key down while double clicking the Logos icon. Hold the CTRL key down until a form opens up giving you options in how you want to start up. Select the off-line option. This might at least get Logos to open and allow you to get back to work.
You'll need to contact Technical Support on Monday. You can send them an email ahead and reference this thread so they can take a look at the log files. Then a call to them will be needed.
