Collection for Exegetical Commentaries

Hi Logos Family,

I am trying to find a command to build a collection of exegetical commentaries. Does anyone have this setup? I checked the wiki page for collection examples and didn't find one for exegetical commentaries. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

One way to work this out is put a tag on the correct series of commentaries in your Library then use the mytag:xxx syntax to bring them into your collection.

You can also create a collection using series:(xxx,yyy,zzz) where you name all ylour exegetical commentaries by series. Advantage is that if new commentaries are added to the series you get them taken in automatically.

In short there is no 'simple; way to identify and pull in just exegetical commentaries.

Which commentaries is a subjective decision on the part of the user. Some have a word like "exegetical" in their title. You might want to

Open the library window
Sort by "type"
Expand the "bible commentary" section.
Now add a tag for each of the commentaries that you consider "exegetical". You might want to use a tag like "Comm-Exegetical".
Now you will be able to all sort of things with just these books.
