Searching within a book

Hi all. This is my first attempt at getting help through the forum (the Logos rep. was unable to help). Anyway, is it possible to search only a portion of a book? I have the ANF collection and want to search only one section, "The Recognitions of Clement."

There's no way to limit the Basic Search feature to just one portion of a book (as there is with Bible Search).

The only way to kind of do what you want is to open the book and go directly to the beginning of that section, then use the Ctrl+F (Find) command to find the text you want. It might find occurrences beyond the end of the section in question, but you'll be right there in the text and if you have the Table of Contents pane open to the left (which you do by clicking the double-chevron icon at the top of the window), you will be able to tell if you've gotten beyond the end of the section you're interested in.

No, however, the search results in one ANF resource include portion identification.

Since I did not know which ANF volume has "The Recognitions of Clement", used library to find appropriate volume(s), opened a volume to "The Recognitions of Clement", then searched for a word (e.g. mind) in this resource:

The search results have parenthetical portion indicators. R = "The Recognitions of Clement" In "R 1, 1", the word mind was found 3 times (first one is listed in search results by title). In "R 1, 2" mind occurs twice.
