Question about notes

I was wondering how I can make a note on a biblical word from a word study and then have it brought back up again if i am doing a word study in the future on the same word. So, for example, I am working on hesed in Ex.36, and I complete a note on the word. Later on when I am doing a word study on hesed in another passage, I'd like to be reminded that i have a note I can refer to from previous studies. I assume it is possibe...I just am not sure how to accomplish it. Thanks!

Sean - If I understand you correctly, you are wanting the note to be tied to the lemma. Is that right? Unfortunately, I don't think that is possible. Your best bet would be to create a special note file for hesed and you can open that file whenever you study that topic. This won't, however, be a reminder to you.

The Bible word study guide has a section at the top, in the first category to title that study and add a note below it. You can also click on the url in the Bible Word Study resource menu, which will give you the location of that word study. Then you can paste that url into a note in any other note file and create a hyperlink. Then from that note, the Bible Word Study guide will open, and your original notes will still be there. Any other time you right click on that lemma in your Bible, that particular Bible Word Study will open rather than a generic one.

If Logos could incorporate My Content searching for Bible Words and include that as one of the search items in a Bible Word study that would be nice. Then if you had a note file on a Bible Word it would show up in that section.

Unfortunately there would need to be a way for Logos to be able to differentiate note files with Bible Word info from other note files else Bible Word studies based on English words would come up with lots of extraneous hits. Not sure how this could be implemented, but it would add a new dimension to the usefulness of Logos. We do study words not just passages.

You can also attach a note to the headword in your favorite lexicon. The note icon would then act as a reminder.
