3 great Classic Commentary Collections for $40 or less
Closes at noon PST, today.
The amazing thing is that all three are close to having their price drop by 10 bucks...
Yes, for Corinthians and Philippians, are there any $20 bidders that would be willing to move up to $30? If a few of you are willing to pay $10 more, you'll save many, many people $10.
The set on Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther is further away from being able to drop to $20, but it could be done if some $10 bidders move up.

This is precisely the point I was trying to make a few weeks ago. The quantisation levels work against us. If the bids were in jumps of $5, the headline rate would be $25, $35, $35 so we would already be better off. And the lower prices would possibly tempt more on board to drive the prices even lower.
How about it Logos? Why not offer $5, $2 or $1 increments once a resource has gone over the top.
Philippians is getting close!
Is there a huge mass of people who are from a college or church that decide to bid all at once ? Cause Ruth and James wasnt near to tipping then all of a sudden I get e-mails telling me they tipped.[Y][:D]

I definitely think they are receiving some "help"

Well James only needs a little more help to bring it down to $30 (which is my current bid)
Wow I almost missed them (three of them). They were already gone from my Order Bidding List ! I immediately jumped through the 3 collections to bid higher and refreshed the page and one after another they appeared in my Pre-pub section. A minute later and it would have been to late :-) fiew
I love the Classic Commentaries because it gives an excellent insight regarding contextual and historical analysis, but also good exegesis indepth (like the Galatians collection). Great ! Knowledge is very expensive but on Logos it only costs few dollars, thank God ! That's a blessing.
If a CP is at all interesting, its worth placing at least the lowest possible bid, so you get included in the automatic emails.
Of course, if you really want it, place a "real" bid, and keep an eye on the line as it trends towards the final result.
I encourage everyone to NOT bid high please, and instead work up from the bottom. If a book goes over the line way too high, many might have to drop out and never buy it. If it could have sold under CP for US$40 but instead goes for $90, they are many that will have it let it pass by and not purchase it. If so, I expect few of those would then buy it later for $599.
Whats my point? Simple: I'd rather get lots of CPs at only $20 or $30 per set than have to pay a whole lot more ...
Closing on Fri 10 Feb 2012 is two items (with current winning bids):
