Is anyone familiar with the Handbook on the Old Testament Series? It's in pre-pub for $84.95 and looks interesting. For $85, though, I need to make sure it's not basically duplicating something else I already have in my Platinum + library.
I personally really like them (for whatever that is worth to you). I had to read them for several seminary classes. They are basically very, very good introductions to each Biblical book. You probably have some of the material in commentary sets. But I personally think they are worth it.
