Larger Maps

Can the maps be made larger, maybe to fit my screen so that they can be viewed better? I need to project onto a screen for Bible class and as things stand the maps are very small and quite hard to read.

Thanks - Arlie

    Arlie,

The maps, along with some timelines, are a mixed bag. Some are of higher resolution, but most of them, unfortunately are not. This means no matter how much you enlarge them, the detail will not get sharper.

This has been brought up many times with many requests that Logos use higher resolution images. Right now we don't have them.

If you are using the Biblical Places tool you can hit F11 to enter full screen mode and then use a mouse with a scroll button to zoom in. You may encounter the resolution problem Mark was talking about though. Also, if you want images from inside books you can copy and past them into a Powerpoint presentation.

Thanks, I'll give the full screen procedure a try. It should not cause any resolution problem since I will be projecting onto the larger screen through my projector.
