Logos fails to open after an update

Hi,

After downloading last automatic Logos update the program keeps quitting unexpectedly even before being launched.
When I opened an applications folder on my Mac I found two applications: Logos Bible Software 4.aap and Logos Bible Software 4 (61450.7.89).app . The first keeps quitting while launching, and the second shows the window with the message that I must upgrade Logos 4 to version 4.5 SR-4 or later with the link to Logos website. When I try the system shows a message that this version is older than what I have.
My question is if the issue I got related to a somehow fallen download and, therefore, may be fixed by Logos, or I am dealing with a virus?
Please let me know if any of you has experienced something like that and how to deal with this issue.

Suggest moving both applications: Logos Bible Software 4.aap and Logos Bible Software 4 (61450.7.89).app to the trash, then use => Update Error steps.

Question, is this something you you have come up with or is it a solution posted by Logos personnel? I have tried it and every time I log in it tells me that I have to upgrade. I have downloaded the file from the link and no success.

So, the answer is No, Logos did not come up with that solution for the specific issue that I was experiencing, where Logos opens, but tells me that I need to upgrade to a newer version even though I am at the latest release.

So, the answer is No, Logos did not come up with that solution for the specific issue that I was experiencing, where Logos opens, but tells me that I need to upgrade to a newer version even though I am at the latest release.

Concur Logos has not published a solution (or quick work around) for the specific issue of Logos 4.5 SR-4 needing an upgrade even though Logos 4.5 SR-4 is running, a new issue that has a couple forum discussions.

Personally using Logos 4.5a Beta so I have not experienced Logos 4.5 SR-4 update issue.

Apologies: my initial answer of Yes was meant to be ambiguous [:P] since wiki information is effectively a collaboration of forum discussions with many Logos users (including my own troubleshooting) and some Logos developers.
