Downloaded Resources

This has now happened twice to me on my Android Phone. I've been logged out by system updates (first time by the desktop 4.5 release cycle, now with the Android 0.9.4 release).

When I'm logged out by force, all of my downloaded resources vanish on my device. So even when I log in immediately (and 0.9.4 even automatically logged in for me), I still lose all those downloads.

Besides using bandwidth that I shouldn't need to, I have to spend time to download everything I've ever wanted to download in the past. This is going to be fairly inconvenient if this happens with every system update, especially because 3G connectivity isn't quite fast enough to make Logos smooth sailing.

I really appreciate the features that came in 0.9.4. In fact, they're so nice (split-screen), that they seem more worthy than being called a 0.0.1 update. But these updates are going to come with the cost of my time, and so I hope that this issue gets fixed rather soon.

Thanks,

Bill

Every time I get an update to the Logos app I have to download all of my books again.

When I go to open the resource I get the message "offline resource not available."

Is this the same as your problem? It sounds as if it is.

    I'm using a Zenithink 180 with Android 2.2

Where do you get the update from? Does it automatically sign-in for you?

I have a Nexus S with ICS, and I downloaded the Logos app from the market. I've turned on automatic updates, so it's whenever Logos submits, Google approves and the update downloads/installs.

I know that Logos are working to minimise these forced logouts but there may be something with the new Android ICS that the developers have to fix.
