Searching from iPad

I would like to know how to filter searches when using my iPad. 

 

Example: I would like to search for verses in the new testament only or in a certain book.

Sorry - I don't think that is possible. You can filter the Library [i.e. edition:ebook], but it doesn't sound like that is what you are wanting to do.
