Search does not default to current book

If I click on the search button, I would like it to default to the book that has the current focus.

The same problem happens when I just search using the Basic search in a commentary. If just did a search in the book then jumped to one of the links. from there I wanted to find the next occurrence of a word, but it took me somewhere else in the book entirely.

So you started with Basic Search and chose a commentary? When the search completed IT(?) jumped to one of the links in Search results?

Sorry, I was thinking about a different problem. That should not have been in there!

What I meant to say is that the search type should also default to one that is appropriate for the book you started the search from. If you are in a commentary, it should go to Basic search. If you are in an English Bible, a Bible search should come up. If you are in a Greek or Hebrew text, the Morphological search come come up. In each case I would like the search to default to the book you are in.

If I'm reading a book I can search immediately with CTRL+F for anything I want in that book. But if I click :search: you can bet that I'm planning on something more substantial.

I know that Thomas doubted[:)], and now I'm having my doubts! Because all the criteria you mention is made available with a right mouse click, and there are at least 3 search suggestions! If nothing else, because you may want a more complex query, you do get a search tab with all those details.
