Here's the master bundle which has links to the individually available collections:

I believe these resources to be new to Logos, correct? I really don't like such a large purchase right now, but opted for it rather than possibly pay full price later.
Yes these are new resources. Be aware that the $900 bundle is made up of 12 cheaper collections that are also available now. I just purchased the single collection I wanted.
This is great. We've asked for the NIVAC OT since the initial Zondervan releases, so now we can have it. Lots of other good things here.
I really don't like such a large purchase right now, but opted for it rather than possibly pay full price later.
I don't want the big bundle, but a number of the smaller bundles do interest me. If one or two other volumes get broken out later, I will be happy to acquire them. The volumes I want are mostly in four bundles, so that's what I have signed up for.
Thankful that Logos and Zondervan are working on their relationship!
I am very excited to see these resources becoming available. Though I must say I was really hoping for a biblical languages collection. That would be awesome!
These bundles need to be broken up. It's not like we are saving money buying Zondervan bundles anyway.
I'm confused. Why aren't How to Read the Bible through the Jesus Lens and The King Jesus Gospel part of the Biblical Theology bundle?
1. Glad to see more Zondervan titles available.
2. Wonder what the post-pub prices will be
3. Encouraged by the break up of previous Zondervan collections.
4. I suppose this might be one of Dan's next big things.
I agree that this is expensive, but there are nine or ten resources that I have been desperate to see in Logos. I've put an order in and will now need to start saving like crazy hoping that it isn't shipped too soon.
I am also very pleased that some of these resources are fairly recent releases. This is very encouraging for the future.
Question: When you have a print resource already and it gets offered in Logos, what causes you to buy it again?
I'm only interested in one of two of the collections with certainty, but a few others have books that I already own, so I'm wondering what the practical benefit might be for repurchasing those in Logos. Many were gifts, so its not necessarily a double cost to me, personally.
Any thoughts?

Hi Gregg,
This is my situation.
I was fortunate enough to receive the Horton, The Christian Faith and the Allison, Historical Theology. I also own The Gagging of God among one or two others.
For me, it is worth having them in Logos because of the added value L4 brings (search capabilities, highlighting and annotations and the ability to cut and paste). I also do a ton of reading on my iPad while on the go. The Horton, Allison and Carson are huge tomes... The iPad is far more portable.
Having said this, I may find myself having to sell my paper copies in order to fund the L4 collection... Although I'd rather have both.
Andy
Andy, as someone else who's in the UK, where do you sell your dead-tree books?
Hi Paul,
It's good to hear from another user in the UK! I am in Manchester, by the way.
In the past, I have used Amazon. On one occasion, I used Ebay.
I have always managed to shift the resources pretty quickly and for a fair price via Amazon (e.g. a year or two ago, I sold BDAG and a couple of the black IVP dictionaries for not much less than the original purchase price).
Thanks Andy. I'm in Cardiff!
I have just noticed (via another thread) that this package is not advertised as being available via mobile devices. This would be a deal breaker for me and it would be good if Logos could kindly clarify. Hopefully this is just an oversight and Logos will clarify the position.
I am also very please that some of these resources are fairly recent releases. This is very encouraging for the future.
I take this to mean that Zondervan is now seeing the value of having Z titles in Logos. We should be suggesting titles to Logos and Z.
Breaking up the Zondervan package into bundles is good but If I'm paying full price I'd rather purchase the books individually and get exactly what I want.
Me and my wallet are waiting.
As I recall the last Zondervan bundle only increased 5% after moving out of pre-pub. I'm going to wait for this so I can use a payment plan.
That's what I'm thinking.

This post from Zondervan makes me less sure of that final price though... who knows!

From the Zondervan site:
Unlike past releases, this collection will be significantly discounted for Logos users that purchase through the Pre-Pub program!
The 63-volume Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle 3 will be priced in the Pre-Pub program at $899, which represents significant savings from the everyday sale price of $1,199. Logos customers will have a limited period of time to purchase at the Pre-Pub discount. Titles are also available in smaller packages, and those are discounted too.
That's a $300 jump!
I have just noticed (via another thread) that this package is not advertised as being available via mobile devices.
I noticed that, but decided it's still worth buying. When I jump from commentary to commentary, I go and sit at the laptop anyway. Hope they do eventually put it into iPad etc format.
I've recently got the NIVAC NT commentary, which does work on iPad, so I hope they'll adapt the OT commentary to do the same.
Greg, I made the call long ago that Logos is my library. My digital library is the priority to me. I prefer buying resources again for my digital library to search and transport. I do not like to move books. I have a mid size print library and I do not like to move it. I do not have that problem with Logos resources. Also, I don't buy all things again. But stuff like theology, commentaries, dictionaries, general reference work is better to search in Logos than the print copy. I prefer digital. Instant search and transport.
From the Zondervan site: ...
...
Ok now I do forsee the $300 price jump after pre-pub. If you add all 12 smaller packages up at their current discounted price it comes to $1095.08US (~$100 under retail) I would suspect access to the smaller packages would then increase after pre-pub as well. So the pre-pub price really is a steal if you can swing it and you are ineterested in the whole thing. I'm going to have to pick and choose.
I never saw these resources in Community Pricing. Is that because Zondervan is doing all of the electronic work instead of Logos? (or did I miss the boat?)
Community pricing is usually for works in the Public Domain. Books under copy-right go directly into pre pub.
Basically Community processing only works if Logos doesn't have to pay any royalties. Because of this, it is basically an engine to get public domain works inexpensively. Copyrighted works appear either in the pre-publication program or go directly to the main listing.

Andy - yes, these will available on mobile! Should be more apparent on product pages soon.

Anyone have a clue as to how long it will take before these will be ready? Are we looking at 1-2 months, or 9-10, or....?
Thanks Jesse
This is really good to hear - and welcome to these forums!

This post from Zondervan alludes to "later this spring"
Between March and June!

Jesse, I agree: thanks!
these will available on mobile!
Thanks, Jesse.
It is much appreciated.
You save $195.13 by buying the $899.95 bundle.

Jesse, Mr. Hillman, Sir, [:D]
While I have your ear may I beg of you to ask the decision makers at Zondervan if there is any way possible to get these three Zondervan titles made available for purchase as a mini Jay Adams set?
They have already been published in Logos format in this huge multi-publisher collection. Biblical Counseling Collection (30 vols.) All the other titles are now available as separate purchases. Zondervan does not benefit by requiring users to purchase all the other guys books. [:O] I speak on behalf on many Logos users who will buy these three books as soon as they become available. The forums are replete with requests for these specific Jay Adams titles. Please consider this request and see what you can do. We are at your mercy. [O] [*-)]
Odd...while balancing my checkbook today, I noticed that the Zondervan #3 Pre-pub that I subscribed to a few days back wasn't showing in my list of Logos pre-pub orders. I just ordered it again...wonder if the Logos website is dropping orders?

Ward,
Careful. The order shows up with the Under Contract ones, not the Gathering Interest.
Also, a note of caution to everyone. Logos is promoting the individual collections, but if you go to them, the information does nor show that they are part of the $899 collection that contains all 12. Don't order twice.
Hi Jesse, good buddy, Mr. Hilman, Sir.
I hope you and the fine crew over at Zondervan are doing well. [:D] I can't wait for the new Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle #3 to ship. It is better than an ice cream sundae. Just imagine the Jay Adams trio could be the cherry on top!
I will now go back to quietly waiting......and hoping......and waiting. (and trying not to sound desperate.)
For those who placed an order for Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle 3, note that Logos' website shows it will ship in May! Better ensure the piggy bank is full for this $899 bill!
I would love to buy John Oswalt's "The Bible among the Myths: Unique Revelation of Just Ancient Literature", which is in a $149 Zondervan collection. And I would love it in my Logos library, of course. But I am not willing to pay $150 for it. So I will buy the book in another ebook format in order to read it on my iPad.
My point is that Zondervan could sell a lot more Logos books by breaking these collections into individual books that are reasonably priced. Keep the collections, but also sell the individual books. I would pay a bit extra to have Oswalt in Logos format, but not $150.
I suspect that is true about a lot of different books for a lot of different people.

Michael,
of course I agree and I think everybody does. That said, of course Logos and Zondervan are now looking to those who might buy a greater part of collection - some books they really would like to see, some they would think over twice since they have them in another format and some they wouldn't (at least not in the near future) consider unless they were bundled. When these have bought the bundles, Logos might break them up (if you follow the respective thread, sometimes it's rather fast) to get those buyers who will take only one book. After all, it's a business.
My 2c, Mick
Mick,
I suspect your 2c. is absolutely right.
