Gary - How many books have you already downloaded? How much free space do you have on your device? What version of iOS are you using? What about the app version?

Alabama, btw, I'm originally from Bama too.

I have a 64 GB iPod 1, with 3G. ios is 5.0.1.  I still have 34.2 GB of  free space.  Iam running Logos 2.0.2.2368.   I have 5,200 Logos resources total, however, I  suspect I have less than 2,000 installed. I left off several items, including most of Pesearus (sp?) I purchased the 64 GB iPod, because I wanted to take Logos with me where ever I go. Russia is an example, where we have a second home. I take my iPad everywhere.

Gary - I assume that when you write "iPod," you mean "iPad." Slip of the fingers? [:)]

How are you trying to download these books? Are you doing the batch download? Have you tried to individually download any of these resources? Are you downloading with a fast internet connection over wifi? Have you tried a secondary wifi source?

I have read of some users having difficulties with a few books, but your problem seems a bit different. Hopefully we can figure it out. [:)]

    Alabama,

I have both, but I meant iPad. No, I download the books individually, because I am do not want all the resources on the iPad. I have 3G and AT&T's fastest Internet connection, with 3 different N connections. I also use wifi in local restaurants. Do the others having problems have as many resources on their iPad?

What are "N" connections… internet connections? Just to clarify… you have been primarily using wifi, right? 3G would be the worst way to download any resources.

Do the others having problems have as many resources on their iPad?

I don't know. Some of the users have LARGE note files (i.e. highlighting), which is something you have not mentioned. It would not seem to me that a large amount of books in your library would be too significant with the amount of free space you have available.

I guess I didn't ask, but when you say that the books are not downloading "correctly," do you mean that they are failing to download completely? Do you get an error message? What does it say?

Do you know how to post logs from your iPad here? You might want to try and download a book and once it fails, upload a log here.

I have 3 N connections. N is the fastest sifi connection.  I do have lots of note files. Here are examples of the messages I recieve:

"RESOURCE DOWNLOAD UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD 10,000 SERMON ILLUSTRATIONS"

"RESOURCE DOWNLOAD Unable to download Ashland Theological Journal Volume 23"

"RESOURCE DOWNLOAD Unable to download Ashland Theological Journal Volume 24"

I have attempted to download these same files down many times, and I always recieve the same message.

I sent the log file to Logos.  I noticed a short time ago I have 2,664 resources on my iPad. I saw that  in the upper left hand corner on one screen, but I am unable to find it now.

Okay, I found the screen listing the number of resources. It shows 4,681, total. The previous number contained a y in the search field.

    Hello Gary,

We're aware of the resource download issue and are looking into it.
