Reading Plan options

Hey everyone, I have just recently purchased Logos for the first time. I am a seminary student and I was wondering if there is a way for logos to formulate a reading plan for by textbooks even if they aren't in my library, and if not is there a way to put them in my library?

Logos can create reading plans for resources in your Logos library, including Personal Books.

Wiki has Getting Started with Logos => Reading with links to wiki pages about Reading Plans. Also, wiki has => Personal Books

Another option is using a spreadsheet for textbook reading plans for resources not in your Logos library.

Wonder if aware of Logos academic discounts ?

As KS4J wrote, you can create reading plans for "personal books," but I don't think this would be a good use of your time as a seminary student… that is to say, trying to create personal books from non-logos textbooks, which would likely require to to break copy protection.

As these non-logos resources print or ebooks?

There are differences of opinion on wether it would be legal to break the copy protection to convert the documents to other formats. For the sake of argument, however, lets assume that you are speaking about public domain works that are not copy protected. Making a "personal book" using the Logos PBB is not difficult, but it is time consuming, at least if you want to add in things like page numbers (which would be required for reading plans). Furthermore, "personal books" cannot be viewed on mobile devices. I am not sure what the advantage would be to go to all this work to create a reading plan in Logos during the course of a semester.

Please don't get me wrong… If I was in seminary again and had the ability to have my textbooks on reading plans, I would jump at the chance. I just don't think it is worth your time to jump through these hoops with the short amount of time you have during the semester. My 2 cents.
