Downloading and Unlocking product

A colleague purchase an order (Scholar's Package) for me and sent me the order details so that I can download the order. The link does not help much as it only asks me to log on. I have an account and am able to do this. Beyond this, I am stuck. Anyone able to help?

You should be able to download the WINDOWS version HERE. Once you download the engine, you will enter your account info and it will download automatically.

To install you need this link (choose Mac or Windows) http://wiki.logos.com/Installation_and_Indexing_FAQ$27s#What_is_the_direct_link_to_Logos_4_installers.3f

After downloading you need to type your Logos account and password to login.

It will then download resources and index - this can take several hours, so wait until indexing is complete before trying to Search.

From a personal experience, Someone had purchased something for me but they used their account to do so, it wouldn’t download to me. So we had to call a sales rep and get things straight before the download would come to me.

In the event that after all else fails – you and the purchaser will need to do the same thing. This is unfortunate, but sometimes when a purchase is made that not all the details get communicated efficiently.

That's excellent. I've got the UBS Handbook series in Logos (both OT and NT) and they are very well regarded. I probably don't use them as much as I could.

I echo Philana's recommendation of Mark Barnes's "Unofficial Logos Tutorial" videos at http://www.logos4training.com

The Logos wiki (mostly user generated) has tons of help too. Start here: http://wiki.logos.com/Getting_Started_with_Logos

There are some other video tutorial resources at http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials

And keep asking questions on the forums as you go along. There are many of us in all times zones ready to help.

Suggest contacting Logos Customer Service to verify (transfer) Scholar's resource licensing to your Logos account => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

Suspect Scholar's resource licenses are currently associated with colleague's Logos account.
