Missing Font in book

Any ideas on the missing font? My font is set to "default". The below is from Packer's A Quest for Godliness (p. 108):

"of the Augsburg Confession of 1530: ‘This whole doctrine must be related to that conflict of terrified conscience (), and without that conflict it cannot be understood.’ Statements like this make plain the "

I must be missing something because I don't see anything missing there Seriously I see nothing that's not there!

I also don't see anything wrong with what you have pasted in and it looks fine in my Logos copy as well.

The missing font is TransRomanAH - you can find that out looking at the HTML code of this page. Obviously Tom Reynolds has this font, so can not see the problem neither on this page nor in Logos. You're right, I do have that font! I have no idea where it came from but it's obviously doing the job

Well... let me summarize:

You described the cause of the problem, as it occurs in the linked thread and elsewhere: older resources with Latin language text that is formatted in font TransRomanAH.

But how to fix it?

wait for Logos to fix the resource - this may happen sooner or later or not at all, may be totally adequate for this minor issue, but is no real help for users affected by the problem now
view the resource in L3 or from somewhere else - this is no fix for L4, but will give the correct information. Users could put it into a note attached to the Latin text for further reference.
simply install TransRomanAH, which
- you may happen to have on another machine or backup floppy disk if you're a truly veteran Logos user or SIL translator,
- is nearly nonexistent on the web,
- maybe was provided by Logos prior to L3 and if so could (and should!) be provided by Logos again on a support page,
- maybe is copyrighted and
- maybe (but this is conjecture) is available under a different name (and thus may or may not work with Logos) in a font package for cheap one or two hundred dollars

I think Logos should in the short run provide us with TransRomanAH and in the long run fix the underlying issue and either have L4 display text that asks for a non-installed font in a substitute font or provide for font selection of Latin in the same way as for Greek, hebrew and Syriac (which is perhaps overkill, since Latin uses the same alphabet as English, but may be less development effort than programming a font-substitution).

Alternatively they could update the resources - thus I'd suggest logging the unreadable text as a typo.

I would suggest a typo report indicating that those specific words in the font are not appearing. This is basically so that problems for other users can be eliminated. In the meantime, you might get this elusive font so that you can view the text.
