Question on building a passage list

I had a large area of text highlighted, to create a Passage List from; via "Add/Highlighted Text". The issue is, the only scripture references were in footnotes. However, no passages appeared in the Passage List!

I also tried exporting to a Word document and doing Add/File" (and the scripture showed up as footnotes there), and I tried copying it to the clipboard, and I tried just highlighting just a paragraph that included footnotes of scriptures, in case the selected area was too large - none of these worked either.

How can I get these scripture references into a passage list?

Use Power Lookup to extract them, then select those results (with Shift key held down) and copy to clipboard.

Thanks Dave, that seems to work well for a paragraph or something that can be displayed on the screen, but if I select a large piece of a book, say the whole book even, power lookup does not show all the footnotes in all the selected text that I can see. So it really doesn't help me get all the biblical references in a whole book I don't think! Can you think of any other ideas, or should I post this as a suggestion?

The problem with copy/paste to Word is that footnote references like "See ch. 16:27" or "ver. 3" lose their hyperlink, so there isn't much choice for method. Just do sections at a time.

Do a print of the resource and I believe it will show the footnotes. Then select the sections you want to "print" select "copy to clipboard" and then on your passage list select" add>from clipboard.

Print/Export really doesn't work if you want to extract ALL the passages from a complete book, including footnotes - the 100 page limit, plus I am not sure you can even select a whole book to print in the Print/Export window without Logos going away for a very long time.

Too bad, this seems like a big hole to me - especially since many times the references are in footnotes.

I can usually get an entire book into one export with a couple of tricks. 1) decrease the font of the resource to the smallest setting 2)in the print window change the page size to the 11X17 size. 3) Select the smallest margin size 4) if there are page numbers, select pages 1-9999. If there are not page numbers select each Level 1 heading (right click>select all sub-headings if there are sub-headings) in the table of contents. 5) Go get a cup of coffee. Its usually not as long as you would think.

You would be surprised by how much of a book you can get in one export using these steps.
