Snapshots are empty/missing

Hi there and thank you for your time & help.

I have worked on a couple of things last week of which Logos made snapshots. I wanted to load some of those (I have not saved them as such, Logos made it itself) to work on. When clicking on them, the snapshot returns an empty page even though I can clearly preview it.

Any suggestions on what may be wrong?

Does the preview clearly show a layout with e.g. multiple panels/panes and text?

might be best to upload logos4.log:-

start Logos4 with Ctrl key held down and signin to a blank layout
open one of the snapshots by clicking
close L4
upload logos4.log from \documents\Logos Log Files

Hi.

I have just tried to open up a snapshot on my PC at my office; the very same thing happened. Are snapshots stored at Logos or on my machine? How can it happen on both my machines located at different places?

Still need to see some logs.

Please answer my question above (snapshots are stored on your machine).

A screenshot might be useful as well (one of the snapshots, another of the layout it opens).

The snapshot process appears to be "simple", but I'd like to see some screenshots (see my previous post).

The snapshots are of your Home Page and I've never seen that before. What happens when you select a named layout on the left side (pick one that should have resource tabs)?

The key word is "Named Layouts" [:)]

You're not going to like what I'm about to recommend but it seems that your layouts are corrupt and you have to start from scratch, especially as you get the same results on another computer to which the Named Layouts have been sync'd.

So delete the following folder: C:\Users\Deon.EWA\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\randomUserId\LayoutManager (put it in the Recycle Bin so it can be recovered if needed). Restart L4 and look in the Layout menu. If the original layouts have been restored check that they work (if not, delete them manually) otherwise:

create a new Layout
save it as a named layout and do some work from tabs in the layout; and
try to load it from the Layout menu.

Thank you very much for your help. I will gladly do what you have suggested. Because now I am banking on layouts and they don't work. I will try out your suggestion and let you know the outcome.
