Reading the Classical Commentaries on Revelation without the background on Daniel http://www.logos.com/product/10050/classic-commentaries-and-studies-on-daniel , is like reading the New Testament with out a knowledge of the Old Testament. Presently going for fifty (50.00) dollars.

Question: did Nebuchadnezzar forget the dream in Dan 2 or did he just not tell it?I found 21 commentaries that said nothing or took both sidesI found 11 commentaries that said he just did not tellI found only 7 that said that he forgotUsing Logos 4 it only took me four hours to produce a ten page report.

I, too, scan the commentaries for a "majority" opinion.... in my case, it's for preaching. After I've formed an opinion on what the text says, I test it against the commentaries. Though I acknowledge the interpretations at the edges of the lanes, I'm always looking for the center-line. I'm looking for this set, too. :-)
