...keep the desired verse reference on the readable screen while also having it in the selected reference? The verse my resources are following always seems to be off the page when I want to examine it.

A question: would a wider Bible window or narrower Bible window help? What are your thoughts? Does anyone have any other ideas?

Are you refering to Reading View or regular panes.

Could you post a screenshot of what you have that isn't working?

I have noticed this behavior, and I've seen posts from others that have noted it. I believe it is a bug and needs fixing.

Would it be possible for Logos to have one way linking? For example, select a bible as a primary link and other references follow that link but not have the primary link follow the secondary links (the old Zondervan software worked like this with one book as a driver and others books linked to the driver book). This allowed you to read through a linked commentary section without the bible window moving from the verse you were linked from.

I hadn't noticed that. A "Follow" Linking option available in Commentary would do this. I tend to like to have one or two comentaries and an intelinear window open during my regular reading just so I can quickly look up something.

If the secondary links are bible references within the commentary page you would like the linked bible to not jump to that reference when it is clicked?

I'm not sure I still do, but I'm not sure it matters. Robert seems to and if Logos is working on it, it will happen.

If it is the one-way linking that Phil is talking about, I get it and would support that option. But it is not there now.

I might be wrong but what I thought was being asked was the "inaccurate" positioning and the "lagging" of the following that's supposed to happen between linked resources...

Or maybe an easy way to accomplish that, is to have a means to temporarily suspend the link of the "A"s. Could I click on the A without opening the menu where the ABCDE etc shows up? Or maybe "double click" the active A, to inactivate it for this session only, having it go back to linked for my next session, unless of course, I go to reset the "A"s (or unset, or delete, or whatever you call it).

Make sense? Yes? No? Extra Cheese?
