Can't get specification of Morph search parameters to be consistent

I 'm having a frustrating time figuring out how to get the Morphology search I want using Logos 4.5 SR-5 (4.50.0.1893)

First if I used @VAPM3S to search for "Verb, Aorist, Passive, Imperative, 3rd Person Singular" in the NA27. I got 20 results in 19 verses. When I searched for both Passive and Middle using @VA[PU]M3S, I got 27 hits. Now if I use @VAUM3S where the U stands for "Either Middle or Passive", I get zero hits. I expected at least 27.

I took me several reviews of my own post to realize that the U option is probably looking for verbs that can be either middle or passive, in other words Unknown. If the U stands for Unknown, then I suggest that be added to the wiki at http://wiki.logos.com/Morphology_Codes. Would have saved me a lot of frustration. Furthermore, it would be clearer to put the third choice as "Unknown-Middle or Passive" rather than "Either Middle or Passive" which can have two different meanings.

Second, the highlighting in the visual morph search setup is totally whacky.

I had more explanation here but I can't figure out how to stop the posting software from changing my search specifications to include airplane icons so I deleted it.

The problem is that if you select two items in a column to search for both, then try to deselect one, they both remain highlighted, the second one you click will turn to a lighter blue highlight, but the search specification will be correct. I found this totally confusing since I was concentrating on the visual menu to build the search specification and had less understanding of the textual search codes than I do now!

I finally found that if after ever selection, you click somewhere else so the search specification help pane closes, then click inside the text search spec to open it again, the confusing highlighting will be gone. This took me a long time to figure out.

I just wanted to do a Morph search this morning as part of something I'm writing and ended up spending an enormous amount of time trying to unravel this tangled fishing line.

Apologies: unable to replicate 27 search results using Logos 4.5a RC 1 for NA27 and NA27 Int.

The problem is that if you select two items in a column to search for both, then try to deselect one, they both remain highlighted, the second one you click will turn to a lighter blue highlight,

Lighter blue is a highlight that can be moved by arrow keys, space bar toggles selection.

I see what you mean about moving the light blue highlight with the arrow keys. I still get it to a point where I have Active and Passive highlighted in darker blue and Middle highlighted in light blue with the text specification indicating a search for Active and Passive voice. For me that is really, really not obvious use of highlighting. I've developed software and human interfaces and this isn't very clear, especially when the help page - doesn't.

I think the Logos software just has a bug in which they don't clean up the highlighting after a selection so you don't see it properly highlighted until you reopen the morph spec help screen.

Logos Greek Morphology has four (4) voice tags. Now can replicate 27 results for Middle (M) and Passive (P) voice:

Searching for @VAUM3S finds no results in NA27, however searching for @V?UM3S finds 21 Present tense results. In contrast, searching for @VAMM3S finds 7 Middle voice results in NA27.
