Sync not working after 4.5a update today

Synchronization is not working after the 4.5a update today. Anyone else having this problem? It worked fine before the automatic update occurred. Now I get only the exclamation mark triangle error. Internet is working, so it's not that.

It works for a while, then the yellow triangle comes up.

yes, and it seems to be doing a major indexing, as if it is loading for the first time.....
