CP - Classic Commentaries - Romans

That the Classic Commentaries on Romans in Community Pricing has not garnered sufficient interest in over a year to push it into production is a real mystery to me. By themselves the studies by John Brown of Edinburgh, Robert Haldane, William H. Plumer, and the 4 volumes by Thomas Chalmers are worth far more (at least to me) than the current $40 winning bid, even though they are all in the publis domain.

Have most Logos users studied Romans so much already that they would rather have other Classic Commentary sets more (the sets on Ruth and Ezra/Nehemiah/Esther made it through the process in well under a year) or could it be the Logos production cost for the Romans set requires a lot more bids than those sets required?

It does have 32 volumes in it, which is more than the other CC packages I've seen (except for Psalms at 35).

My guess would be that all the same people participating in the others also have bids in for Romans, but the production costs are higher with all the extra pages. The Psalms seem to be having the same issue.

I think Logos has been 'helping' most of the other Classic sets which have gone through whereas Romans just hasn't been 'helped' yet. For example Job was at the same place as Romans (60%) and was the first classic set that came out but then from 60% and not moving for months suddenly jumped into production this week. Similarly, Jeremiah was last recorded at 39% 10 days ago and showing no signs of moving http://community.logos.com/forums/p/39093/338134.aspx#338134 whereas now it's suddenly jumped into production. It's clearly also been helped. So I reckon we just need to bide our time and wait for logos to choose to 'help' that one - something, fortunately, they seem keen on doing with these commentaries.

I just recently got into Logos this past Christmas during their sale by purchasing a base package. I had Logos before that, but only with free resources I could find. As I started exploring content, I was turned on to CP through the forums, and the Classic Commentaries looked pretty interesting.

I am really thankful they've taken so long to come into production. I notice that I missed two: Genesis and Galatians, and seeing the cost of these commentaries in production (and even those in prepub currently), I am really glad they sat idle for months. CP is a bigger bargain than I had imagined.
