Has Sync v2 now superseded Sync v1 because I get errors when trying to sync tags & ratings on v4.5?
In 4.5a RC2 I get this message "Error WebServiceClient CommunicationException for Boolean: System.ServiceModel.ServerTooBusyException: The HTTP service located at https://services.logos.com/v1/AuthenticationService.svc is too busy."
Dave- In my communication with the developers about the iOS app, it is my understanding that several features have not yet migrated to sync v2. Tags & Ratings, as I understand, have yet to migrate.
Then the release notes are wrong

Tags and ratings have migrated on the desktop app (4.5a), but the iOS app hasn't caught up yet. I presume 2.1 on the iOS app will support this, and be timed to be released as soon as possible after 4.5a.

I do not think that 2.1 b3 has migrated these yet, at least not fully. In any case, it is not working on my beta build.
Since 4.5a released today hopefully that will be soon!
For certain sync items, yes. Favourites, Notes & Highlighting, Reading Plans, and Library ratings & tags have been updated to sync v2. As soon as you run a sync v2 client for one of these items, your data gets migrated on our servers and you can no longer change it with sync v1.
Many document types (syntax searches, collections, sentence diagrams, clippings, etc.) are still using sync v1. The document types that are most useful on mobile platforms are getting moved to sync v2 first.

I hope collections are getting moved to v2. I think they'd be really useful on mobile.
