Unable to download resources on iPad that do download to iPhone
I know that this subject has been explored before, and I have tried some of the suggestions from previous posts, but I am not sure if they may apply to version 2 of the app.
I have an iPad 1 (I know I probably broke some rule in stating it is an iPad 1, but I do so to anticipate the question of whether it is an iPad 2) running iOS 5.0.1 running Logos app 2.0.2 that will not download Sketches of Jewish Social Life in the Days of Christ. I have tried connecting to AC and setting Auto-Lock to never; restarting the iPad, etc. I have just uninstalled the app and have downloaded my resources that I want. This one does not want to cooperate.
The strange thing is it will download to my iPhone 4s.
Has anyone else had trouble downloading this resource to their iPad? Is there a problem because it is an iPad as opposed to an iPad2?

Hi Bill
Just to say that I have just successfully downloaded this resource to my iPad 2 to see if I got a problem there.
So sorry if you already knew that but thought it worth mentioning.

Bill - Can you view the resource at all, or is it just an issue of downloading for offline availability? I have heard of other users having difficulties downloading a resource on one device, but being able to download it to another. Are you on wifi?
I will try to download this to my iPad 1 ([:P]) when I get a chance.

Bill, I also have not been able to DL that resource. It is one of about 60 resources that will not DL for me (out of approx. 3000). No rhyme or reason to it.

Alabama:
Yes, I have shut down the device, several times. I have tried starting it from using AC power. I have uninstalled Logos app and re-installed.I have tried it many times during the day thinking that it may be a server issue. I am baffled.
How full? I am using 7.1GB of 13.8 (16GB device). Logos is using 3.2GB.
Oh, and yes I can open it on the device, just cannot download for offline viewing.

Most of the users I am aware of with issues like this have downloaded large amounts of resources, as it appears you have.
I am baffled.
Me too. I know that Logos is generally aware of some of these issues. Hopefully they are aware of the specific issue for you.

Well, I just did a total restore of the iPad. This was unintentional, of course. I thought I would uninstall the app, then re-install, then try to only download this resource. Well, I guess the iPad hiccuped. It lovingly displayed the Apple logo forever... So, I put into restore mode and did a restore. Thankfully, I had just backed up the iPad yesterday.
After the restore, the Edersheim book downloaded just fine. Now, to get all the rest downloaded.... again![:P]
