Logos will not open

I have attempted to open Logos on my desktop several times with no success. It will open on the laptop fine. When I try to open on the desktop it starts as usual and as it starts playing the Logos music it abruptly stops and it is like i have never tried to open it. Anyone have some help on this? Terrible timing! Tomorrow being Sunday!!

Would like to look at diagnostic log files.

Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac with log file creation, compression, and posting steps.

Option: download and use an applescript application 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

Caveat: Logos support phone lines are closed on weekends => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

Also wonder if you have created reading plan(s) on iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) ?

No reading plans. It is strange to me that it opens on my laptop fine. I had fears of t his when I purchased this type of program. I was a long time user of Bible works. Now I have a lot of money invested in Logos and not so happy. May need to rethink this whole thing and go back to something that works. I still have a version of Bible works that i purchased ten years ago that still works on windows!! I am very concerned with this program.

Concur about strange. Wonder about Logos 4 versions on laptop and desktop ? Also wonder about OS versions and Mac models ?

Still would like to look at desktop diagnostic log files.

Other option is contacting Logos => http://www.logos.com/about/contact (albeit phone lines are closed on weekends)

Apologies: unable to replicate since Logos 4.5a on my laptop (Windows 7) and Logos 4.5a on my iMac (OS X 10.6.8) work, which is one way to use dual monitors on a desktop.

Observation: for original language study, have read about other programs being faster than Logos. For breadth and depth in a digital library, Logos has thousands more resources.

Thankful for many, many improvements in Logos 4 Mac (along with experiencing some crashes along the way). Wiki => Mac Release Notes and History shows Logos has released many free software updates. Thankful for Logos licensing to pay once for a resource, then use on desired electronic devices.

Curious about some hardware specifications: CPU, Ram, graphics.

Enable diagnostic logging on desktop, launch Logos 4 Mac, if Logos fails to open, then compress your Logging folder and attach zip file in a reply.

Enable logging is step 1 in => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac ( can download and use app => 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip )

Well, I used the command key to open Logos and when it opened it downloaded an update and now it is working. What is up with that? Is there something I need to look at?

Suggest checking items you normally use. If ok, then Thank Logos for an update. [8-|]

Am aware some Logos employee(s) were working today => Sync not working
