Index stuck at 4%

For the last several weeks, my index stops/hangs at 4% complete. The little blue icon in the top bar simply vanishes. The index seems to catch the Bible texts completely, but commentaries are mainly not there, Spurgeon Sermon collection not indexed. I've tried a clean download, but that didn't help. I tried deleting a resource file that may have been the culprit, but that didn't fix.

Also used the "rebuild index" command in the command bar...but no good there either.

Sounds like indexer is crashing; would like to look at diagnostic log files, especially Indexer.log file.

Please enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, wait for blue icon to disappear from menu bar, compress diagnostic log file(s), then reply and attach compressed file.

Option: download and use an applescipt application 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.
