I've been working on some Floating Tool Windows, and have noticed two bugs/inconsistencies:
1) If you click on a Favorites folder (with the rest of the screen empty) and choose Open All, the tabs arrange themselves in several panels. If you click on the same folder and choose Open All In A Floating Window, all the tabs will turn up in one panel, which is not only inconsistent, but also generally leads to more work.
2) If you're in the main window and go to Layouts and click on one of those little templates at the bottom left, the tabs rearrange themself. If you're in a floating window and do that, nothing seems to happen at all. The only time I ever attempt to use those templates are in floating windows (due to bug 1), so not having them work there make them kind of useless.
Of course, what I really want is to be able to have one layout open, and then right-click on a second one to temporarily open it in a floating window. A Floating Tool Window is really only a bad workaround, so when I need to work around bug 2, in order to work around bug 1, in order to do something that is already a workaround to start with... well, you get the picture.
