does anyone know how I would upload jpg images to logos 4 in a searchable format? thank you.
Hi David - and welcome to the forums.
does anyone know how I would upload jpg images to logos 4 in a searchable format?
Could you be more specific as to what you are trying to do?
What sort of images / how do you want to search them?
In general, the only way in which we can get information into Logos is via the use of Personal Books - details at http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books - so you could put your images into a document, include some search strings and then compile a book.
Would that give you what you want?
Graham
You could add them into a Personal book see: http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books
thanks for you quick response. i have a cd of maps that came with a recent purchase of the book, ESV Bible Atlas and was looking for a way to add the images to Logos 4 and then have a way to search for them in a book kind of format.
Hi David
Thanks for the explanation.
How many images do you have?
(There have been lots of requests to get the ESV Bible Atlas into Logos but I haven't seen anything on this yet)
You could create a .docx document and import all of the images into it.
If you associated a searchable field (such as place name or Bible reference) then you could search for that field which would take you to the right place in the map.
This might give you what you want but the amount of work would depend on the number of images
Hope this helps
i'll give that a shot. Thank you Graham.
The ESV Study Bible Notes includes 15 Maps:
Logos 4 has Tools => Biblical Places, which has searchable access to many maps (needs Bible Study and above base package).
One way to search for images in Logos 4 is using #image AND. For example,
#image AND Jerusalem
