Not sure if this is related to the resources itself or my installation but the footnotes & cross-references are messed up in NIV 2011. In this image, you can see that both cross-notes and footnotes (italic) are using two overlapping sequences of letters (which is confusing to start with) and the footnotes at the bottom in page view show that where there is a footnote and cross-reference at the same point, they are identical i.e. the footnote text is the the same as cross-reference next to it.
