BUG: When will I finally be able to use Text Comparison???

For as long as I've owned Logos I have essentially never been able to use Text Comparison. I enter the Bibles I want to compare (that's from a dropdown, btw, so I've not misspelled or anything):

I hit enter:

It changes to something completely different. And, yes, most often it changes to all Bibles. You can imagine how long it takes and what it looks like displaying all Bibles with one letter on each line...

Some time ago I spent essentially a full day creating less than 10 TC tabs set up with different Bibles, so that I could save them in two layouts (OT and NT) and would actually have a way to get them to show up correctly, at least when I needed them enough to be willing to switch layouts for it.

The only way I could do that was by trying again and again and again. Once every 50 times or so it either showed up correctly, or it accidentally showed another collection I also planned to make, and then I quickly made sure to save the layout, before opening a new TC tab and starting all over again. But. like I said, it took me almost a full day!

Now I've found that one of my so painfully created TC tabs has corrupted, and so far I've been unable to recreate it. I am really really sick of this!

I've also tried to create shortcuts that will open the correct TC setup to the verse currently displayed, and not to what I was looking at the last time I opened it, but that doesn't seem to work either.

(And -- I've said this before -- could you please implement cmd-. to stop what ever process is going on, so that I at least don't have to wait for a TC panel with all Bibles to populate (and eat up all my RAM) every time things like this happen.)

Concur user interface in Logos 4 on Mac and PC needs improvement for choosing resource(s) in Text Comparison. The comma separated list looks nice, but is challenging to insert or change list items. The older Libronix 3 drop down menu with check boxes is easier to check/uncheck items.

Quirky: seems bit easier to build list from right to left. Choose first item, then type a comma to the left, then type to the left of the comma, followed by choosing resource (click or arrow to selection, then enter).

Wonder about creating Favorites ? then drag from Favorites to create shortcut ?

+1 [Y] along with Stop button (like the Guides). Trying to change verse reference while a comparison is being processed causes human verse entry to be ignored.

I virtually never use lists. I use a collection or a mytag, if necessary with a base text before. And while I, to my great surprise, actually managed to get the 1 Bibles, Greek NTs to execute directly after posting, it all blew up again the second I entered UBS4, to the left, so in the end it was of no avail anyway.

My intention was to drag the shortcut to Favorites. It never occurred to me to try dragging >Favorites>shortcut bar>Favorites. I'll try it tomorrow to see if it makes any difference.

It didn't.

Today, however, dragging directly to the shortcut bar did create a TC shortcut that opens to the current verse (which is, of course, what it should do). Unfortunately, I still can't use it: the Bible collection changed to a different one...

Apologies: unable to replicate collection changing.

After choosing verse(s), resources, and settings: Case, Marks, Punctuation then waiting for Text Comparison to display, followed by dragging to a Favorites folder, now have created a couple Text Comparison favorites. My Old Testament comparison ignores Case, Marks, and Punctuation to allow Hebrew Bible comparison with Dead Sea Scrolls. My New Testament comparison with Greek resources with Logos Greek Morphology includes Case, Marks, and Punctuation.

Personally wish for Stop button in Text Comparison (like the Guides) so have a visual clue Text Comparison is in progress. When Stop button disappears, would know Text Comparison is done.

Ideally, Stop button would have a red octogon icon (international Stop sign) with cmd - . keyboard shortcut.
