New Spirit Filled Life Bible Shipping Soon
For over a decade my main bible has been The New Spirit Filled Life Bible which was edited by Jack Hayford. Dr. Hayford is the founding pastor or The Church on the Way and the Chancellor of The Kings University in Van Nuys CA. He is one of the most gifted teachers that I have had the privilege to sit under. I have had my order in for months and am very excited that it is scheduled to ship on 3/14/12.

Can you tell me the difference between the Spirit-Filled Study Bible and the New Spirit-Filled Bible? I have the former, and I'm wondering why I might want to update to the "New" one.

From my perspective, I don't think there is a compelling difference between the first and second version. There are a few articles that have been replaced but the core is basically the same. I am excited to be able to make it my preferred bible in Logos.

The New Spirit-Filled Bible is a study bible based primarily on the NKJV. So you can make the NKJV your preferred Bible and the NSFB your top priority for study bibles, but since the NSFB isn't a Bible (well, it is, if you buy it in a store, but not in Logos), you can't really make it your preferred Bible.
Did that make sense?

Maybe I am looking at the wrong product under the Logos Products page - http://www.logos.com/product/1220/spirit-filled-life-study-bible - which I have. Basically it has the earlier versions notes and Kingdom Dynamics information but does not include the Bible text. The new offering has the Bible text embedded which allows you to have your bible and the notes together. I have used this version of the NKJV for years and appreciate the added references and topics for further consideration. Presently I use both resources when studying, along with other references. This will allow me to reduce the number of resources open by one and should help.

No. It does not.
The picture is from the print edition, not the digital edition.
As I said above, this is a study Bible, so the notes and the Bible text will be two different resources. You can view them side by side, but the study Bible notes are not embedded in the Bible.

The New Spirit Filled Life Bible shipped this afternoon. Given the comments I wasn't quite sure what the product look like when it was downloaded. I was presently surprised that the study aids were integrated and that I was able to select it as my preferred Bible. Thanks to Logos for delivering this product

Yes, got it last night. And quickly remembered why I like study Bibles in two files. [One the Bible and the other the study guide] This will work but I like to link the study parts to all Bibles in my current study. [I did say that this will work]
