I don't know if this has been noted before, or if it can be easily fixed. Logos crashes for me if I click on "Bible Text Only" in a Geneva Bible in I made in Personal Books.
Jerry, please post in the Windows or Mac forum but first carefully read http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging so you can upload a crash log and logos4.log. If you have a beta version then report in the PC Beta Forum or Mac Beta forum.
I shut off Logos and then opened it with a blank screen and enabled logging. Then I opened the Wycliffe Bible PB and the "Bible Text Only" worked just fine. Then I opened the Geneva Bible PB and when I clicked Bible Text Only the Bible goes blank and the visual filter dropdown stays open. So then I clicked it off and then clicked at the top of the pane to get the focus again and with the visual filter dropdown still open I get the Not Responding alarm and after quite a while the text of the Bible returns and it doesn't crash. Before I had several resources open and I may have clicked in the body of the text. The .docx file of the Wycliffe Bible is clean while the Geneva Bible document still needs work, so that is probably why.

Depends what sort of work. Compiler errors need to be fixed, probably warnings. It shouldn't matter if you have incomplete bible books.
