it shouldn't be this difficult. it shouldn't crash & restart all the time. Support docs shouldn't be telling me to delete and reinstall the product. that's why i went to a mac.
Well Logos 4 was originally programmed for windows and has been ported in large part to the Mac Platform, it uses at it;s core a Microsoft
technology called .net framework the mac side is supported by an interpretation called mono. I too find it very frustrating that it is not more stable, but having used it since alpha days of the mac logos 4 pre product, I can tell you it is getting better. I do wish the people who had down 1.2.2 could have been brought on to do 4 (few features but it ran fast and was very stable). I am still hopeful that we will have a stable product sooner than later.

Welcome [:D]
Concur plus puzzled by Logos 4 being crash prone for some Mac and PC users (wondering about hardware and/or software commonality among crash prone hardware, possibly graphics driver using memory shared with rest of system that could be a bit more sensitive to memory leaks).
Thankful for Logos development team striving to improve Logos 4 on Mac and PC to eliminate crashes.
Wiki Logos 4 Mac has Logos 4 => Common Experience on Mac & PC
Logos 4 shares a substantial code base between Mac and PC so many items function identically, including need to periodically restart Mac due to some memory leakage issues. The user interface code on Mac has been custom coded for Mac since running Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) natively on Mac is not an option (can run WPF in a virtual machine or Boot Camp).
Likewise depends on crash cause whether to delete and reinstall the product. Caveat: some crash causes are not fixed by delete and reinstall.
Wiki => Mac Troubleshooting incudes note:
Note: If using stable release, can contact Logos Mac Support if the program does not seem to be functioning properly.
Keep Smiling [:D]
