problem with song title using custom background

I've been using motion backgrounds with our song lyrics.  I've been updating the lyrics slides to be readable with the size and color fonts that I want.  However, the song title defaults to black...and no matter how I "customize" it.  If I tell it to display the title on a title slide it still is small and black, which usually means it unreadable.

 

Am i doing something wrong?  or is this a known glitch?

Probably not – it is just that the 'ergonomics' tech was on a break so they let the window cleaner devise the routine.

Lets recap... you'll like this ... not a lot though...

1. Select your song.

2. Tick 'show title on title slide'.

you can adjust which slide is the 'title slide' by clicking on the blue word 'title' - but we will leave it as it is for now.

3 Go to top right and click 'Customize' (don't be put off by the strange z that has crept into the word - its the ex-colonials asserting their independence)

4 Along the top pick the 'title' aspect you want to use.

 

5 Now we get to the really interesting bit. On the screen you will find two boxes one on top of the other. You can separate them by dragging them around. One will contain the text for the title and one is supposed to be able to hold the hymn number. The second one doesn't work.

6. You can now use the controls to the left to set font and colour etc.

7. There is a limit on how big the text can be - it will only expand to the point that it fills the width of the box.
I cannot find a way to make it split a line in the title.
