Crash: SR-6 While Pasting Text Into Notes

I have managed to crash SR-6 twice in a row by pasting 3 paragraphs of text into a note. The text did contain some verse references.

I want to post log files but for some reason I can't figure out how to enable logging (I know I've done it lots of times before. Can someone remind me how? I thought it was under settings), but just for fun I attached a video so you too can watch the crash happen.

Give the Logos guys a break. At lest wait 2 hours before reporting it!

There's a script you have to run to enable logging. It won't attach here - file type not allowed. Hopefully someone else will help.

I'm sure that Bob just told us on another thread that the Logos techs have absolutely nothing to do and have just been sitting around for the last couple of days... They held off this release as payback for some of our comments....

Jacob, Don't ignore me.

You can enable logging in a one shot deal by holding CTRL when you click to run the program.

The logs will then be in my documents/Logos Log Files/

Didn't there used to be a place under "Options" above where I could attach the .zip file to the forum post. That hasn't been there for a while.

I had the same issue this morning- as soon as the download finished it ceared up.

I assumed that 4 just became overwhelmed with the amount of data.

They should change the filmstrip icon to a paperclip. It's not just for media anymore.

Good point. It does seem just slightly misleading.

And while they're fixing that, please find a way to not append a closing bracket "]" to file uploads. I realize it's part of embedding video but it's quite irritating.

FINALLY: can we have a way to embed /upload files while using the plain text editor? This java editor is frustrating to me. I'd rather see <html><code> when editing.

You could embed the files in the rich text editor, then bring up the html screen to finish up your post.

Yes, I've been doing that some. But I still have to put up with the delays loading the html editor. Just dreaming for a good compromise on this.
