Once this week's CP sets close today, there won't be, as has been the case for several weeks, a flurry of additional Classic Commentary sets ready to cross into pre-pub land with just a few more bids.
But, there a few author sets just about ready. I for one will be thrilled if some of these get full participation a week from today. Lets dedicate the next 7 days to pushing some of these "other" CP sets intoproduction.
Topping the list is the works of Thomas Boston:

$50 seems so little; I paid over 4X that for the hard copies many years ago, and don't regret a penny spent on it.
Thomas Brooks - 6 volumes for only $12 - WOW - how can anyone resist?

Georg Curtius - Would a Greek expert care to give us some incentive for this set?

A few other sets that could get to production soon with some advocacy, if not in just a week:
Charles Wesley - Just listed a week or so, already almost 80% participation. 22 volumes, 13 with poetic works alone.

Isaac Watts - Often only known for hymns, but has so much more to offer the 21st century Christian. I found some of his writing very useful when I had children in the nest.

David Clarkson - 3 volumes, but what a meaty set. Well worth the mere $15 price

And lastly a few author sets that are to-die-for (IMHO) but just aren't going anywhere:
James Ussher - 17th century Ireland - Amazing how similar the spiritual landscape was there then compared to 21st century industrial America and Europe

Thomas Manton - admittedly all printed sermons, like Spurgeon - makes great devotional reading though - and at $40 it is less than 20% of the cost of the printed set

Charles Hodge - He left behind so much more than the classic Systematic Theology and a few well-known commentaries - we should be able to get the price down to $40-50 though

Adam Clarke - Readers here often talk about Spurgeon's recommended commentaries - Spurgeon used Clarke repeatedly - just look through the references in teh Treasury of David and see for yourself. $100 seems like a lot for public domain, but with as little bidding as this set has had, I suspect those who have bid know how precious it is and are more than will to pony up some hefty $ for it.
