Howdy. In addition to being faculty, I'm the IT Director and the institutional "Logos guy" at a small Bible College and Institute in Dallas (we're moving toward Logos being a required part of the student's portfolio). Yesterday I was installing Logos on a student's laptop (Windows 7 HP), and all seemed to go well until we had to back out of the resource download at 17% due to time factors and a terrible T1 line (don't ever get stuck in a contract with Telwest). Anyway, most my expertise is in OSX (due to personal use) and Windows XP Pro (due to our shop setup). Anyway, I tried to demonstrate to him how to do it on his own, but Logos was nowhere to found on the system!? Is this normal, and if not, how can I prevent this from happening in the future? In addition, our local ministry development guy was unavailable to bring discs to us as he was out of town--which Logos seems to do to him quite often. Thank you in advance for your consideration. As the student is not computer savvy, and I won't be back in the office for 10 days, I had to refer him to tech support.
