Good morning. Do I have to do anything to update, sync., etc. to L4 in order to have the latest updates and patches?

No...not if you're software is set to "Get updates automatically" and "use internet" is set to "yes" and you're plugged in to the net.
You can use "update now" if you're anxious about it...it's no problem...it just forces Logos to update.
