Bug: Logos Must Be Forced to Quit with Floating Windows

I usually close most of my apps at the end of the day by using Command+Tab followed by Command+Q. When I do this with Logos it only closes the main Logos window and will not close any of the floating windows. I usually have to force close Logos, and even then it has taken up to five minutes for my Mac to process this request.

I also found this happening when I installed an update to my Mac last week (though at the time I thought it was a fluke). My Mac asked me to restart, which I did. When the Mac began closing apps, it said that Logos stopped the restart. Again, the main window was gone, and only the floating windows remained open. I had to force quit Logos to allow my Mac to restart and install the update.

Although I have not experienced your particular symptoms. I have frequently had Logos fail to quit gracefully. This is usually accompanied by a dialog that Logos had quit unexpectedly. Opening Activity Monitor reveals that a ghost of Logos 4 is still present. If this is not forced to quit, Logos 4 will normally have severe problems on restart.

Haven't seen this mentioned on the forums, so I assume it is something unique to my installation. When KS4J sends me that new 27" iMac, I will upgrade OS X from 10.5.8. Perhaps that will exorcise the ghost. [8-|]

Thus far, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue. It would be helpful if we could get your logs; it might also shed some light on what's happening if we could see a screenshot or have a description of what you have open and what position it's in (as far as docked/floating, how many tabs in each window, etc.)

I cannot reproduce this issue anymore on the latest beta (beta 4). I don't quite remember the relationship between the release dates for beta 1, 2, and 3 (or when I installed them). It is possible that this was happening to me on beta 1, but not sure. I thought I was in beta 2 when it took place, but maybe not.

Either way, it is no longer an issue.
