Encyclopedia Britannica to stop printing books
Perhaps this will encourage digital editions of EB. When will Logos offer the set? Good thing I have access to a set of the bicentennial editoin of EB [:O]
I have the complete print edition from 1961, which was fairly close to the year of my birth, so it's interesting to browse through it occasionally and see where the world's knowledge was up to by then. The nice thing is I got the set for free; someone was just getting rid of it and left it for the first taker near the "free books" box outside the library at my seminary.
However I'm finding I don't go to it for information anymore, and it's mostly just dead weight to carry around when I move. I'd rather have it in digital form. And I guess I'd rather have a more up-to-date edition. But Wikipedia is just fine for me.

I saw that in the news today and it almost brought a tear to my eye. Of course, I saw it on a Twitter feed, which is probably telling... [;)]
