Eliminating "misleading" multiple hits with a Hebrew lemma search

So I do this search: All Morph Text in All Passages in King James Version with Anderson-Forbes Hebrew Morphology for lemma:כפר:1 and it comes up with 102 results in 94 verses. But these hits include suffixes and each English translation word in the results.
So Gen 32:20 yields 6 of the results even though the Hebrew word only appears once (it yields two results each for the Hebrew verb and the pronominal suffix, for each of the three English words "I will appease"). Obviously, if one is trying to get a word count for how many times the Hebrew word shows up, then the count is way off.
If I switch to KJV to BHS/WHM 4.2 with Westiminster Hebrew Morphology, then lemma:כפר:1 yields zero results, and switching to just כפר yields only 8 for all the OT!
So my basic questions are:
- How do I do a search that would yield a correct result (i.e. word count in Hebrew) when searching for a particular lemma?
- How do I do such a search for an entire word group (all lemmas)?

- To get precise results for a Hebrew search, search a morphologically-analysed Hebrew text (e.g., AFAT), not a reverse interlinear. A reverse interlinear search can give unexpected results (due to the way lemmas are grouped together for idioms, for example).
- The homograph number is considered an essential part of the lemma in Logos 4 (and is determined by the particular morphological analysis applied to that resource). It's not currently possible to ignore the homograph number and search just on the consonants; you would have to construct an OR search that includes all lemmas you're interested in. (In this case, you might only want to search for homographs #1 and #6, not all six.)

The use of different morphologies by these resources (Andersen-Forbes for KJV, and Westminster for BHS/WHM 4.2) means that the lemmas may be different in each resource. (I did get 102 results in 94 verses by searching for lemma:כפר in BHS/WHM 4.2 though.)

Thanks for the two posts. When I exported the original query on the interlinear to Excel, it actually had 109 rows, so there were 7 rows not in the "count" of 102... which, considering the BHS version also produced 102 hits, must mean that it is giving me correct count, just showing me all the extra English words used in a few of the translations.
I'm still a bit stumped why it tied a suffix into it though. But I guess that may not matter if the count was correct.
