package upgrade & "old" books

Hi!

I use Logos 4 Silver and want to upgrade to Platinum or even Portfolio one day.

Meanwhile I buy books that are interesting (like an interlinear OT).

If I upgrade are the books I already have from the package calculated within the price, or will I pay the package price although I have a part of it already running on my PC?

    Chris,

    you'll have to speak (or email) with Sales about this. They may give you a discount offer - however, according to forum posts from the past, they will probably deduct only a small fraction of the purchase price of your additional resources from the upgrade cost. Good luck!

    Chris, if the additional books you bought were purchased within a month before your upgrade, you will be able to get a full refund on them before purchasing the upgrade. If it's longer than 30 days, sometimes the Sales people will be flexible and give you the refund anyway, but it depends on how long and whether they're in a good mood that day. I've had them let me return books bought as much as 3 months prior if I'm spending more money (it's in their benefit to be generous to users that way). But I've had that denied when it was more than 6 months ago.

    May want to compare upgrade to Scholar's Gold plus Master Library Builder (2,010 vols.) vis a vis upgrade to Portfolio.

    Note: Master Library Builder includes a number of Portfolio resources, but not all.
