Just called Logos Support. Was told they can't delete the Perseus collection from my Account!!!!

Okay, so I wanted to "hide" the Perseus collection on my MacBook Air because I want to save hard drive space. There are almost 2,000 resources in this collection and they have to be hidden ONE AT A TIME!. No problem I was told, call Logos and have them delete the resources from your account. I just called them and was told by two different individuals on their support staff that they couldn't delete Perseus from my account!!!

So, anyone have any better ideas, other than deleting 2,000 items ONE AT A TIME?

    And don't tell me about the option to delete 10 at a time. It's so cumbersome a process that it's easier and faster to delete them one at a time.

    This is strange, as multiple people on the forums have had this done. Actually it's not about deleting the resources, but deleting your licence to Perseus. Maybe something changed with regards to the licence database - e.g. the ususal support staff don't have this access anymore. There should be someone who can do this...

    Try again and explain it to them differently. Tell them you want them to LOCK the resource in your account. They can do it. They've done it for others. You must have got two people who happened not to know what they were talking about. Ask them to escalate your case to a higher level of tech support.

    Kudos to Logos Tech Support after all. They called me back and told me they were wrong, that they could in fact lock the Perseus collection and that it would show up in my account in a week or two.

    1. Again, I want to make sure you understand that "hiding" Perseus, under normal Logos usage,  will remove it from all your computers (but not mobile apps).
    2. Did you follow the steps given by Mark HERE? It's not ideal; Logos needs to make a better way; but it is much easier than one at a time.

    A week or two? It shouldn't take that long. All they've got to do is flip some switch on their end, and the next time you restart Logos it should take effect. Unless they've had to put your request in some queue to deal with it when they get around to it.

    When you request to relock Persues, it goes through the system as a return.  This means that it has to go through the credit department, even though the cost was $0.  It is just the way the system is set up.

    Interesting. So I wonder if you'll get a line item on your next credit card statement showing a return for $0?

    I wouldn't  think so… its just on the Logos side. I didn't get a "$0" purchase the first time.
