keeping default notes size at the new default

Before the font size was removed from the Program Settings, I had set it at 9. I found that to be too small, and have set the default for any new notes to 11. But now I cannot change the size for the old notes in Program Settings. I have repeatedly used the command "Set old default notes size to 11" and it works -- temporarily. All my notes are changed to the larger notes size. But as soon as I close the program, and reopen it again, the "old" notes have all reverted to 9 point size again. How can I make the new default "stick" for the old notes?

I see no one has responded to my post. Can I assume that there is no solution to this problem? Or is there something wrong with my Logos setup?

Hi Ken,
I cannot answer your question because I do all my notes in L3 and import them into L4.
This being said, sometimes it takes a while for someone who knows Logos to respond to questions. Sometimes people receive an answer in a matter of hours. Sometimes (not often) it takes a day or two for the right person to see and respond to the note.

Do you have Logos on two applications? If so you may have to give one the command and then close it and then start the second and give it the command. I don't know if this is the problem, but sometimes sync does strange things like this.

Sorry we missed this post earlier.
I've not heard of a problem with this issue before, nor of the "set old default note size" command. The wiki says this:
Set Old Default Notes Text Size to {Font Size (8-24)}|{Default} –
changes the text size of old notes which used the default size set in
Program Settings and have not been edited for size since the option was
removedThis suggests that this works only if the notes "have not been edited for size since the option was removed." Have you edited any of the notes for size before running the command? (Seems like an obvious question, so I thought I'd ask it).
If the answer to that is "No," a follow up question would be, do you have those notes active on more than one device at a time (in case one instance is overriding the other). A second follow up question would be, did you change anything in the note file after setting its size (this would force Logos to save the note file, and possibly the settings with it - not that I know that's how note file settings are saved; I don't).
I've never played around with note file font size settings, so I really can't be much more help here. Sorry.

I do not have Logos on two applications that use Notes (Android does not have access to notes yet). But to my surprise, the problem now seems to be rectified. I repeatedly used the command "set old default notes text size to 11", and tonight when I reopened Logos, the new font size "stuck". I have no idea why it worked now, and it did not before.
