I am just curios why these four books by Norman Geisler are not included in the March Madness Sale?
I have read these sales stipulations HERE
Could it be the last qualifying factor?
I am just curios why these four books by Norman Geisler are not included in the March Madness Sale? Systematic Theology, vol. 1: Introduction and Bible Systematic Theology, vol. 2: God and Creation Systematic Theology, vol. 3: Sin and Salvation Systematic Theology, vol. 4: Church and Last Things
Maybe it's because they are on my Wish List [:'(]
Me TOO! [:)] I guess I will have to wait.
The set is already on sale at over 30% off. It might be a good time to purchase them now.
$109 is the normal price.

You have that backwards - they didn't include it because I already have it. [:)]
I'm interested in buying something from Geisler on modern philosophy - am I better buying his Is Man the Measure, or volume one of his Systematic Theology? Does he deal more with existentialism, humanism etc in more detail in one over the other?

I don't know the answer to your question… but since the later is not on sale… I would say the prior. [;)] You should also be aware that it is generally much cheaper to buy the set. Right now an individual volume is $40; the set is $109. (I am waiting until 1) I have money and 2) the set is on sale [:)])
I'm not normally a fan of systematic theologies, but this one looks impressive. After reading your post I looked through the other ones, and I want in. Come on tax return, hurry up ...

Hey Alabama. I am fairly new here on the forums and this is the first time for a March Madness Sale. Am I missing something? Here is what I see on the Logos Website.
Normal price and retail price are not the same thing. Logos "normally" has Norman's Systematic Theology set at $109. For instance, 6 months ago it was this price and 6 months from now it most likely will still be this price.
Note: If Logos would have included this work in their March Madness sale it would have been listed at around $76.

Josh is right. $109 is the normal Logos price. FYI - The "March Madness" deals require a coupon code, which you get by visiting the March Madness site. Also, a list of books that are included in the discount are provided there. Geisler's systematic theology isn't included.
If you are ever unsure about pricing, feel free to post in the forums. For example, I only know about this resource's regular price because I have been keeping an eye on it. (I am waiting for a sale to occur when I have the cash available. [:)])
Thanks to both Josh and Alabama. This really helps me. It looks like I am getting a deal when I am really not. I guess the bottom line is "am I willing to pay the amount listed at this time?" or "should I hold out and hope for a sale?" I find the logos website confusing at times.
I would guess that Bethany House won't let Logos discount these titles. All the Geisler titles in the sale are from other publishers
This has been an issue for some forum goers. We've had whole discussions on what "retail price" means - and on whether or not Logos is somehow being unethical in their method of listing prices, especially during "real" sales. I, however, am not overly concerned with this. I think Logos is clear enough. I, also, think you are correct. It comes down to whether you are willing to pay the amount listed. Most of the time Logos is giving you a pretty good deal. Another thing to remember is that a "Logos book" is not the same as an e-book (Kindle, Nook, etc.) - a lot of work goes into creating a resource that will be highly functional in Logos 4 (tagging, etc.). This gives these books increased value and worth.
Thanks Josh. I agree. For most resources the extra functionality in Logos is worth it though there are some volumes that I just want to read. I am thankful for Vyrso for that option and the free books makes up for the higher priced volumes that I purchase so it kind of balances out at the end of the day. When | consider the total costs of my purchases and compare that to the volumes I have added to my library, I have gotten a good price overall.
