I often update my layouts. Can someone tell me the easiest way to do this, as opposed to saving the snapshot with the identical name?
Nope...
the only advice I have at the moment is to number them instead of "John 5:4 study for fred at work"...that keeps the typing down to a minimum...
Thanks, I was afraid of that! [:(]
Really? That needs to change if the feature is going to be useful.
I just started sermon prep on Psalm 67 and saved a layout. After making some changes to the layout, I needed to check something for one of the forum post I had written. When I loaded my saved layout, all those changes were gone.
It seems obvious to me that there should be an "Update Saved Layout" option.
I'm very prone to rabbit trails (FSD). Those trails don't need to be saved in my layout. But sometimes I do want to come back where I was.
Fortunately the auto saved layouts tend to snapshot pretty close to where I want to be. As long as too much time doesn't pass...

Yes but I think it should be intentional, rather than automatic.
Agreed. We already have the periodic Snapshots to fall back on.
