There's a neat little app in the AppStore called FreeMemory and you might find it handy if you have to run Logos 4 Mac on a dinosaur machine like I do. It's one thing to close an app to make more memory available, and it's another thing to actually have that extra memory more fully available. This seems to be a big help to me. It's not a substitute for more RAM, but it does a good job with what you do have. And the price is right: free...
