Can this be done with the Classic Commentaries?

What I want to do is put each of the Classic Commentaries into a collection, for example one collection for Genesis (this I have done). Then when I open up one of the Genesis Classic Commentaries I want to be able to switch from one Genesis commentary to another with the left and right arrows.

I feel I should know how to do this, but I cannot figure it out.

Check the box "Show in parallel resources" in the Tools-Collections window.

You need to have the "Show in parallel resources" checkbox checked in the Collection defintion:

Then when you're looking at one of the commentaries, as long as you've got a Scripture reference in the reference box (i.e., the Scripture reference index is active rather than the page number index), you can hit left and right arrow and switch to the next of the commentaries in your collection. You can verify that the collection is set up right and you're using that as the parallel resource set by dropping down the "Parallel resource sets" menu from the toolbar and making sure the checkmark is in the column whose title is the name of your collection:

My mistake was not typing a scripture reference so no parallel resources were showing.

Another question:

Am I correct in assuming that only those commentaries that cover the specific scripture reference will show up in the parallel resource list?

Yes, that's correct. Some of the books in the "Classic Commentaries on Genesis" collection are not actually commentaries. They are of type Monograph. You might or might not want to include them in your collection. They won't show up in the parallel resource list, but you might have other reasons for using that collection, for example restricting a search to just those books, so you might still want to include the Monographs in the collection.
