Navigation suggestions
Enjoying my reading list and highlighting on my new iPad. Here are a few suggestions to improve the app navigation:
- Offer an option to go to the start of a chapter instead of verse 1. That way we can see introductory material. With all the screen real estate on the iPad, I'd like to see the chapter number, a Psalm of David, and then verse 1.
- Ability to move up or down one verse like in desktop version. Sometimes a passage I want to highlight breaks across screens, and there is currently no elegant way to deal with that.
- An option for panes to be side by side in portrait mode as well as landscape mode. This would be a much better option for different languages than top and bottom.
- Highlight by selecting the desired color without having to click done; wastes a step if you're changing colors and doesn't take any more effort for the same color since you have to click something anyway.
- Away to access favorite books without going to a saved location. That way book would open to whatever passage was synced last on whichever platform.
Thanks,
Stuart

Awesome suggestions!
Perhaps a smooth scrolling option (similar to scrolling up and down in Biblia for example) would be the best way to deal with #2 - it would also improve synchronisation behaviour when working in split-screen mode.
The only downside that I can see to scrolling currently is that it would render the "up-swipe" gesture non-operational. I'd propose a "tap & hold" on the verse number (rather than side-swipe) to bring up options like passage guide. This would leave the side-swipe gestures free for switching between resources - I think it would be awesome to have the Bible open in one screen, then side-swipe and immediately view a resource (perhaps a commentary) at the same location, and just side-swipe back to return to the Bible!
The icing on the cake would be to make offline resources perform significantly quicker!
